On March 10th, the Dr. Ernesto Schlieper auditorium at the Faculdades EST campus was the setting for a gathering that brought together around 25 women, including students, collaborators and professors, to commemorate International Women’s Day, celebrated on March 8th.
The initiative was promoted by the groups that make up the Espaço Diversidade at Faculdades EST, including the Gender and Religion Program (PGR), the Sustainability Institute Latin America and the Caribbean (InS), and the Identity Group, with the aim of fostering reflection on the history, resilience and role of women in society.
During the gathering, participants engaged in dynamic activities, such as moments of reflection, music and body movements, to strengthen mutual trust, promote gender equality and highlight sorority — the support among women.
The event concluded with a community coffee, providing a space for integration and exchange of experiences, as well as reflecting on the importance of the gathering. The initiative highlighted the strength of the women at Faculdades EST and the need to continue the fight for greater equity and respect in society.
