On the afternoon of March 23, Espaço Diversidade at Faculdades EST welcomed around 15 Theology students enrolled in the distance-learning program who are preparing to enter the Ordained Ministry of the Igreja Evangélica de Confissão Luterana no Brasil (IECLB). The event was part of EST-Ação – Primeiros Passos, the first intensive week of the 2026/1 cohort, when students gathered in person for a week of intensive academic formation.

The meeting was led by the coordinators of the Sustainability Institute Latin America and the Caribbean (InS), the Gender and Religion Program (PGR) and the Identity Group: M.A. Scheila Dillenburg, Dr. Marli Brum, Dr. Soraya Eberle, and M.A. Selenir Krombauer. Throughout the afternoon, participants learned about ongoing initiatives and projects, engaged in conversations on diversity, inclusion, and justice, and reflected on sustainability and its relevance to the life and mission of the church. The activity was marked by active participation, attentive listening, and a meaningful exchange of experiences.
